It’s going to be an extravaganza of events and fun.
It all starts on December 2, 2017, as Lumiere Vancouver presents it’s launch in Jim Deva Plaza and English Bay, followed by a week of exhibits, dancing, performances and some parties, including a Pop Up Ping Pong and Public Disco.
Launch Night, Jim Deva Plaza and English Bay
DJ Meeks performs at English Bay starting at 4:30, followed by Fire Performances by Ember Arts at 6:45 and 7:45 PM. At 7 Pm the Umbrella Light Parade takes place.
Things get underway at Jim Deva Plaza at 5:30 PM with DJ Gizem Aksay, followed by Light inspired performances.

Art Exhibition starts at 2 PM and goes till 6 PM. Trevor Van den Eijnden presents Sham-Real Shadows. Chris Mills presents Sol and his Cubes at the Dancehall, and Hfour, presents The Limitation of Words to Describe Feelings.
Dance Lessons & Social Dancing starts at 7 PM and is hosted by Dance in Transit.
December 4 & 5,
The Art Exhibition continues both days from 2 PM to 9 PM
Noon to 5 PM, Pop up Ping Pong, hosted by Frida & Frank
6 PM to 8:30 PM, Places for People Downtown presents, Meet the Public Space Makers
Noon to 9 PM, Infinity Boxes by Trevor Van den Eijnden
Noon to 6 PM, Pop up Ping Pong hosted by Frida & Frank
8 PM, Party in the Plaza, hosted by Party4Health
Noon to 3 PM, Art Exhibition, continues, and starting at 5 PM and going till 10:30 PM, it’s Public Disco. Dance your pants off to Disco beats in Jim Deva Plaza
