GOOCH @ 8X6 ART EXHIBITION: First Time in Canada

Having returned to Australia in 2000 after 8 years in New York, Jackson, now Lismore based, bought back an outstanding record of artistic achievement. This included two wins of the Keats Art Scholarship in 1987 and 1992. trained in Australia and New York, where he studied at the prestigious Art Student League, Jackson has an established reputation spanning ten countries in four continents, with his works often notable for their startling colour and dynamic energy.

Jacksons Art has been displayed in exhibitions worldwide that includes the library of commerce Permanent Collection in Washington DC (1999), the Bellport New York State N.Y. Art Expo (1996 & 1997), the Wagener Gallery in Woollahra Sydney, friends of the Earth Group Show in Melbourne and more recently at the Lismore Regional Gallery Treasure Show and the Bobby Goldsmith Fair Day Sydney 2007.

This is Jacksons first exhibition in Canada (Vancouver) and first outside of Australia in 15 years.  Event is listed on Facebook page here.
