Queer as Funk: 10 of Vancouver’s Hottest Musicians
Queer as Funk will be Live at the Imperial to kick off pride weekend on July 31st. This high energy band features 10 of Vancouver’s most grooving musicians. From Motown classics that include Aretha Franklin, Otis Redding and Stevie Wonder to Amy Winehouse, Justin Timberlake and Bruno Mars, this explosive sound machine will blow your socks off.
Hosted by Miss Kiss, the show will feature “The Queen of Burlesque” Lola Frost, Drag Sensation Beardonce and local DJ favourite DJ Slade.
Queer as Funk shows consistently sell out so getting your tickets early is recommended. “This is a party for everyone. Let’s get together and get our dance on” says Alison Gorman, bandleader and trumpeter. If you miss this show Queer as Funk will be at New West Pride on August 15th.
