Final Winter Pride of the Season
Mountain conditions are excellent and a great weekend of outdoor activities is set. Peak Pride takes place at Big White Ski Resort, close to Kelowna in the beautiful Okanagan Valley.
New to Peak Pride in 2018 is Chase the Rainbow. Ski or ride your way through Peak Pride’s carefully crafted list of runs and find secret messages. You will be entered to win prizes. Chase the Rainbow takes place on Saturday morning. Chase the Rainbow is one of several free events organized for this year.
The WipeOUT party at Happy Valley is almost sold out. Only a handful of weekend passes available and a limited number of tickets remaining for the WipeOUT remain, so act fast!
Friday April 6
The Mingle at the Blarney Stone Irish Pub, and the Comedy Show at Happy Valley are both no cover, but Weekend Pass holders will have reserved seating. What better way to kick off Peak Pride than getting to know fellow Pride revelers and get a belly full of laughs.
Saturday April 7
Mountain Challenge, Chase the Rainbow takes place on the slopes and you will need a lift pass. The Mountain Pride Parade starts on top of Big White and will make its way down to the village.
Need a break, take in the Apres Beer Garden, hosted at The Woods, you’ll find yourself enjoying a relaxing time right in the heart of the village. No cover and it goes all day.
New for 2018 is the Pride Culinary Walk. Weekend Pass holders will be thrilled with the picturesque village as you make your way from one delicious stop to another. Four local restaurants have joined forces and will be offering up a curated sampling experience. Featured dishes will be paired with a specialty beverage. What better way to dine than making your way through the village.
WipeOUT, a full slate of entertainers will keep energy levels to the max. Talent lineup is being finalized and will include DJ’s, Drag Performances, Dancing and much more.
Sunday April 8
Feed your inner soul and revitalize yourself after conquering the slopes with the Sunday Brunch, at the Blarney Stone Tavern.
The Inn at Big White is located in the heart of the village and offers spectacular views of the Monashee Mountains. With 100 units, it’s the perfect place to stay and play. Features include a games room, fitness centre, swimming pool, ski to and from access, restaurant and lounge, and is wheelchair accessible.
