Evergreen Cultural Centre Will Be Host Venue For Coquitlam’s First-Ever Drag Show “Jakyllyn Hyde’s Spring Queening” on March 24th
Jakyllyn Hyde – larger than life drag queen persona: Entertainer, Film and Theatre producer Daniel Mason – this week announced her appreciation that the Evergreen Cultural Centre will be opening its door as host venue to Coquitlam’s first-ever Drag Show on March 24, 2018.
Called Jakyllyn Hyde’s Spring Queening, the show comes just in time for Spring Break and will feature the talents of Flannery Pajamas, Anida Tythole, Justice Du Jour,Candy Boxx, and special guest star, Vancouver’s own drag royalty Myria LeNoir. Plus, there will be comedy styling of Yumi Nagashima to underscore the evening.
“In a world that is growing increasingly tolerant of the beauty, and entertainment that comes from diversity inclusion, we are proud to be part of the change within the Tri-Cities” said Jakyllyn Hyde the evenings Host and Co-Producer. “RuPauls Drag Race is now an Emmy award-winning show, Melissa McCarthy is a fan-favorite as Sean Spicer, and transgender topics are integrating into everyday society. We’re part of this beautifully pivotal and accepting time in our world’s history.”
