Telus Storyhive features Dean Nelson
Telus Storyhive supports original stories told by BC and Alberta filmmakers. What better way to celebrate Pride Month than feature one of Storyhive’s videos.
Dean is the driving force behind Whistler Pride and Ski Festival for the past 11 years and was a instrumental in opening up Pride House at the 2010 Winter Olympic Games. In 2016 Dean was recognized by his alma mater, Thompson Rivers University, with a human rights award.
Dean has been involved in numerous organizations and served on many boards including Travel Gay Canada, the Vancouver Pride Society and Interpride.
