Hearts of Gold

Dave Deveau (My Funny Valentine) and Anton Lipovetsky (Broken Sex Doll) delve into the whimsy and heart of the Elbow Room Cafe real life owners Patrice and Bryan.

Elbow Room Cafe: The Musical, takes to the stage March 1 – 12 at the York Theatre, 639 Commercial Drive. The York Theatre is the Clutch’s newest venue featuring 370 seats in a fully restored 100 year old theatre.

East Van Panto’s Allan Zinyk leads a cast of drag queens, campy misfits and the hung over.

Serving Up A Piece of Legacy

Since 1983, the Elbow Room has garnered acclaim for it’s outstanding breakfast and lunch menu, and also the side order of abuse. The Elbow Room is a perfect place to take unsuspecting diners and have them experience what has become over the years, a tradition of rudeness. All in good fun of course.

The Elbow room has for many years been a supporter of A Loving Spoonful and raised thousands in support of HIV/AIDS.

The production started back 2015 when theatre artists Dave Deveau, Cameron Mackenzie and Anton Lipovetsky pulled it all together playing at Studio 58 at Langara College.

Save your ticket stubs as they are worth a 15% discount at the real Elbow Room Cafe, 560 Davie Street.
